1. Who you are buying from

y.computer is operated by zer0, LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company — the registered address appears on every order confirmation and invoice. "We", "us" and "Y" mean that company. Questions about these terms: orders@y.computer.

These systems are sold for professional and business use. If you buy as a consumer, statutory consumer rights in your country apply in addition to anything here and are not limited by these terms.

2. What you are buying

Two things, itemised separately at checkout: (a) hardware — either a stock OEM machine passed through at our cost, or a machine we build to order — and (b) our installation service: models installed, tuned and pinned, the agent runtime and private chat workspace configured, a walkthrough at handover and 30 days of adjustment afterwards.

For stock OEM machines, the hardware invoice includes the purchase receipt so you can verify the pass-through price. Our fee is the installation, not a margin on the box.

3. Prices and tax

Prices shown are the verified figures for your region at the stated basis (EU: EUR ex VAT · US: USD ex sales tax · UK: GBP as listed). The Y Computer line is priced and charged in USD worldwide. Its displayed complete-system prices include both the hardware and one Y OS installation, even though those parts are itemised separately at checkout.

Where we are registered to collect tax, Stripe calculates and adds it at checkout from your delivery address. International orders may owe import duties and local taxes at delivery; those are collected by the carrier or customs and are your responsibility.

Built-to-order systems — the Y Towers and the Y Computer line — are charged at the listed price when you order. The exact bill of materials follows in writing before anything ships. We request your approval before a material substitution or price change; if you do not approve it, you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never touch our servers. Bank transfer against invoice is available at the same price. An order is accepted when we send the written order confirmation — until then, your payment is held against the order and is fully refundable.

5. Lead times

The clock covers our whole pipeline — ordering your hardware, building and burning in custom chassis, installing and testing the software stack, then shipping. Current windows, acknowledged at checkout: stock desk systems 3–5 weeks; built-to-order systems 6–8 weeks. We confirm a concrete window with your order confirmation and tell you promptly if it moves.

6. Cancellation before delivery

You can cancel free of charge any time before we order your hardware (stock systems) or start your build (custom systems) — full refund, no questions. After that point and before delivery, we refund everything we can recover: at minimum the installation fee in full, plus the hardware price less any non-recoverable costs, which we document.

7. Returns and withdrawal

EU/UK consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for stock machines, starting at delivery. Return shipping of a machine you have used is at your cost; we refund the full price once the machine arrives back complete and undamaged. Note the statutory exemption for goods made to your specification: built-to-order systems (Y Towers, the Y Computer line and custom configurations) are excluded from withdrawal once the build has started — which is also why we confirm everything in writing first.

Business purchases follow the cancellation terms in section 6 and the warranty in section 8 rather than a general return right.

8. Warranty

Hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty (OEM machines: the OEM's own terms and duration, which we pass through unchanged and help you invoke; built-to-order systems: the stated integrator warranty on the build). Our installation carries the 30-day adjustment period, and the benchmark certificate records the measured state of your machine at handover.

Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised hardware modification, or operating conditions outside the manufacturer's specification. Software: the open-weights models and open-source components run under their own licences; we warrant our configuration work, not the upstream projects.

9. What we do not promise

Published throughput figures are honest measurements or clearly labelled estimates from the cited configurations; your workload will differ, which is why your machine ships with its own measured numbers. We do not promise fitness of any model's output for a particular purpose — you are responsible for how you use what runs on your machine.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under an order is capped at the amount you paid for that order, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without displacing mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. We will always try to fix a problem directly first — write to orders@y.computer and a human answers.
